Regarding Carol...

Signs of improvement...

Carol spent 10 days in the hospital. She was released Friday. Tuesday, the infectious diseases specialist informed us the pending test results came back negative. So what do we do about the lingering cough and extreme fatigue? His response was, “I don’t know. Contact your primary care physician.”

Yesterday and today she has finally begun to show noticeable improvement. I’d say she’s back to maybe 25% capacity. Yesterday afternoon she ventured out on the deck for some extra steps with her walker.

We have been blessed by family and friends helping with food, visits, massages, Get Well cards, etc., etc,…!

We have a virtual appointment with her PCP at 11:00 today.

Carol estuvo hospitalizada por 10 días. Le dieron de alta el viernes. El martes (antier) nos informó el especialista de enfermedades infecciosas que los resultados pendientes de los últimos estudios salieron negativos. ¿Qué haremos, pues, con la tos persistente y el agotamiento? Su respuesta fue, “No lo sé. Comuníquense con su médico familiar.”

Por fin, ayer y hoy Carol empieza a dar muestras de una mejoría significativa. Diría que ha vuelto a un 25% de capacidad. Ayer en la tarde se atrevió a salir con su caminadora a tomar unos pasitos en la terraza.

Bendecidos hemos sido por los familiares y amigos echándonos la mano con comidas, visitas, masajes, tarjetas y demás…!

Nos toca una cita virtual hoy a las 11:00 con el médico familiar.
